I assume that you are reading this article because like me, you are suffering from Hot flashes. Are you tired of getting “dolled up” each morning, only to find that before lunchtime your clothes are just a damp crumpled mess? Your carefully applied make-up has been swilled away by the sweats, your shiny skin is exposed Your hairdo has gone wayward and you feel as though you need another bath. Tiresome isn’t it? and more to the point, embarrassing. When I was little, I used to wonder why older women plastered themselves with strong scents and wore crimpeline clothing!

What are Hot flashes-Sisters, believe me, if you are experiencing them, you already know what they are but my goal is to educate you so you understand them. According to several experts; Hot flashes occur when the brain’s temperature mechanism, the Hypothalamus, is malfunctioning. It sometimes sends a message to the brain that the body is cool so the brain sends messages through the body particularly the blood vessels to heat the body up even though the person may currently be comfortable.
